Texas instruments (TI) announces industry's first apply to the ultrasound system integrated 8 channel transmit/receive (T/R) switch.
TX810 can meet the designers on small, portable ultrasound system production requirements, while reducing time to market (click here to watch the video). TX810 eight channel integrated protection diode bridge circuit (protection diode bridge) and clamping diodes (clamp diode), prevent the dispatcher high voltage pulse damage ultrasound system receiving electronic devices. Relative to the portable ultrasound system to medium-size of vertical solutions, the device can save more than 50% of the circuit board space and reduced the number of components needed, easy operation, thereby improving the reliability of the design.TX810 T/R switch's main features and advantages • compared to discrete solutions, eight integrated channel may follow different T/R schema savings of 50% to 75% of board space.
• Integration features may reduce the number of devices, so that the components and operation is simple, and accelerate your design and increase reliability. • Programmable bias current (bias current) can be used by designers to control and reduce power consumption: • use 3-bit interface to set the bias current of 7-mA range • reduces power consumption and energy saving mode (power-down mode) • best insertion loss (insertion loss) in 7-mA bias current and 1-mA bias current, respectively 0.9 dB and dB, can maintain 1.3 400 Ω load input/output signal integrity. • TX810 make TI ultrasonic system for signal chain products more complete, including AFE58xx series analog front-end IC, high voltage pulse TX734 and a variety of medical imaging dedicated embedded processors, power management products, frequency and interface.
