A home healthcare smart robot design (1)

Digital family is the future of intelligent Community system base unit.

The so-called "digital home" is to provide the internal network based on family covers the entire family of intelligent services, including data communications, home entertainment and information appliance control function.

1 Introduction

The entire system of lower-cost, feature a more comprehensive, extended application is very broad, great market potential.

2 the overall design of an intelligent robot

2.1 Intelligent robot with multiple sensor system

Robot intelligence most important related area is the robot multisensory system and multiple sensing information integration and fusion, collectively referred to as intelligent systems hardware and software components.

Visual, auditory, tactile and force sensing, external sensor and all joints internal Robot sensor fusion use, allows the robot to complete real-time image transmission, voice recognition, features distinguish, positioning, automatic collision avoidance, target detection and other important features of; to the robot with relevant medical module (CCD, CAMERA, stereo microphone, image capture card, etc.) and private medical sensor parts, plus medical expert system can achieve healthcare and remote medical monitoring function. 2.2 Intelligent robot control system

Control system for DSP (TMS320C54x) as the core part, by the Bluetooth wireless communication, GSM wireless communication (supports GPRS), motor drive, digital compass, sensory function sensor (Visual and auditory, etc.), medical sensors and multi-select a serial communication (RS-232) module and other components, control system block diagram shown in Figure 2.

When TMS320C54x requires Bluetooth wireless communications module data strobe through circuit; when TMS320C54x need a sensor module data, turn off the last radio communication module at the gate, gate that sensor module. In this way, each module completes the serial communication with TMS320C54x.

3 major healthcare functions

Intelligent robot for digital home healthcare can provide the following services:

⑴ medical monitoring

Through the integrated Bluetooth module medical sensors to family members of the main physiological parameters such as ECG, blood pressure, body temperature, respiration and blood oxygen saturation measurement in real time, through the robot handling system provides local results.

⑵ remote diagnosis and consultation

3.1 robot vision and video signal transmission
